License policy
Commercial terms for programs sold on Aspera.bond Lab. Free tools (for example Navtex Display) stay free and do not need a paid key. Product pages, checkout, activate, and support all follow this policy.
1. What a license is
A paid license is a signed right to run a specific product on one activated seat. It is personal or company use for that seat. It is not a resale right, not a source-code grant, and not a shareable floating pool unless we write that in a separate quote.
2. Lifetime
A paid license is lifetime for that product on the activated seat: the signed license does not expire by calendar date. You keep the right to run activated builds you already have, and to receive updates while we publish that product. Lifetime is not a promise of endless new features or that every future edition stays free forever.
3. One seat / one PC
Each license activates on one PC. We prefer binding to a Windows TPM public key. If TPM is unavailable, a machine fingerprint may be used. Private TPM material never leaves the device and must never be pasted into this site or emailed as a secret dump.
4. Offline use
Desktop apps verify a signed license locally with an embedded public key. Online checks are optional. Air-gapped and maritime desks are supported when the signed license file is present on the machine.
5. Updates
Updates come from our update server while we publish that product. A valid license is required for entitled update channels. If we retire a product, you may keep using the last activated build you already hold.
6. Transfer
Moving a license to another PC goes through [email protected]. The old seat is revoked before a new seat is issued. Reasonable transfers (new machine, hardware failure) are normal; serial sharing is not. See Transfer.
7. Gift keys
Gift keys may be issued through support. They follow the same activate, bind, revoke, and transfer rules as paid keys. A gift key is still one seat.
8. Payments
Checkout is handled on Pay. For Bitcoin, this site only ever shows receive addresses. Never paste private keys, seeds, or WIFs into any form. After payment clears, support or the checkout flow issues the license material for activation.
9. Refunds
Digital licenses are delivered promptly after payment. If activation fails on our side, contact support and we will fix the seat or refund. Chargebacks for keys that already activated on a working seat may lead to revoke of that license.
10. What you may not do
You may not redistribute installers or license files as a public download, rent seats, crack or patch the license gate, or claim ownership of Aspera.bond marks. You may use the program for your own work on the licensed seat, including commercial work, unless a product page states otherwise.

12. Technical audit
Project audits are separate from product licenses and from Bond Network. The technical audit is $100 USD, typically 48 hours to one week. Scope is confirmed in reply from support. Request via Request an audit.
13. Free / open tools
Some catalog items are free (for example Navtex Display). Free tools do not require a paid key. Source availability is stated on that product page only.
